Mary Ryan is a registered pharmacist in the UK and Republic of Ireland with over eight years of experience. She also has extensive clinical knowledge from working in various settings, including community pharmacy, palliative care, and online pharmacy. Particularly passionate about dermatology, Mary completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from the University of South Wales to enhance her skills in this area. This involved examining a range of dermatology conditions including inflammatory dermatoses, skin infections and lesions at specific sites and has given Mary the skills to make evidence-based decisions in her practice.

Quality Lead, Liyya has been involved in the launch of Dermatica from day 1. With over seven years' experience working across a diverse array of disciplines, Liyya completed a postgraduate diploma in dermatology in clinical practice in 2018. This enabled her to develop a critical awareness of the evidence basis relating to the diagnosis and management of various skin conditions including acne, anti-ageing and pigmented skin. More recently Liyya completed a postgraduate certificate in non-medical prescribing so that she can apply her knowledge to managing Dermatica patients. Liyya prides herself on ensuring her team deliver exceptional patient care at all times and works hard to consistently improve the service we offer at Dermatica.

Ghalia Alrifai is a qualified pharmacist with a special interest in Dermatology. Committed to providing excellent skincare recommendations and personalised advice to patients, one of Ghalia's priorities is to ensure all her patients receive the most suitable treatment for their skin concerns. Ghalia has a strong academic background and was awarded a prize for her clinical pharmacy knowledge at the University of Bath – her Master's project focused on transdermal drug delivery. She's committed to providing high-quality, personalised clinical services to her patients.

Superintendent pharmacist and head of compounding, Avnish Patel has over eight years of experience as a registered pharmacist and holds a PhD from the UCL School of Pharmacy. His research focused on the design of topical pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations and their performance. After completing his PhD, Avnish worked as a postdoctoral research associate, where he developed and refined spectroscopic analytical methods and experimental design. He also briefly taught at London Metropolitan University before working as a research scientist at Syngenta on a malaria prevention project. Avnish has a diverse set of scientific skills and uses his knowledge to ensure that patients receive the best possible quality of medicinal products.
